ACN - Active Citizenship Network /Cittadinanzattiva APS
Cittadinanzattiva APS, an organization founded in Italy in 1978, promotes citizen activism to protect rights, care for common goods, and support vulnerable people in Italy and abroad. Guided by Article 118 of the Italian Constitution, it emphasizes citizen autonomy and institutional support for civic initiatives based on subsidiarity. Independent of political or corporate affiliations, it recognizes citizens as essential to democracy. Its European branch, the Active Citizenship Network, promotes civic activism, political participation, and the protection of citizen’s rights throughout the EU.
Role in the project
Cittadinanzattiva APS - ACN, also recognised as a consumer association in Italy, brings the citizen and consumer perspective to the OH-FINE project consortium. ACN is involved in the following work packages: 1, 2, 3, 10, 11, and 12.
