INAGRO - Inagro vzw
Inagro is a center for applied research and advisory services for the agricultural sector in Flanders, Belgium. The department of organic production focuses on applied research for outdoor vegetable production, arable crops, and fodder production. Key research areas include soil fertility, organic crop protection, variety trials, and weed management. In addition, Inagro offers advisory services to farmers who are converting to organic farming and to those who are already practicing organic agriculture.
Role in the project
Inagros’ role in the project is to help develop the stakeholder survey and conduct it for the region of Flanders. It will set up focus groups to find out farmers' most pressing issues and conduct a research trial to address some of these issues. Inagro will participate in cross-visits in the partner countries and help organize workshops and the final project forum in the last project year.
