TEAGASC - Agriculture and Food Development Authority
Teagasc – the Agriculture and Food Development Authority – is the national body providing integrated research, advisory, and training services to the agriculture and food industry and rural communities.
Role in the project
As the lead for work package 2, Teagasc is responsible for the foundational stages of the project, including set-up, needs assessment, and the establishment of baseline data to guide and inform subsequent work packages. In addition, Teagasc is leading work package 8 and overseeing the OH-FINE Impact Assessment, which will evaluate the development of Organic Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS) and the effectiveness of knowledge interventions during the conversion to organic agriculture. In addition to its leadership role, Teagasc contributes to all other work packages.
