WULS - Warsaw University of Life Sciences
Warsaw University of Life Sciences is Poland's oldest agricultural and natural science university. It offers 41 fields of study (including 12 in English). There are nearly 16,000 students in full-time, part-time, doctoral, and post-graduate study programs, as well as in international student exchanges. The University has modern research centers, laboratories, and outstanding experts. There are 2 institutes involved in the OH-FINE project: The Institute of Human Nutrition Sciences and the Institute of Agriculture.
Role in the project
WULS is involved in all work packages of the OH-FINE project. In addition, WULS is responsible for organizing the 2nd forum in Poland involving partners, stakeholders, experts, and academics to raise awareness and improve communication on organic agriculture. During the forum, a workshop and training will be organized for interactive learning and knowledge sharing. WULS is also responsible for field trials based on research conducted in experimental fields in Miedniewice, belonging to the Institute of Agriculture - consisting of three farming systems: organic, conventional, and integrated.
