Work package 9 – OH-FINE Impact Assessment in the post-conversion to organic farming phase
Work package 9 assesses impacts in the post-conversion to organic farming phase, focusing on the following objectives and tasks.
Objectives
- Evaluating social impacts and Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS) changes experienced by post-conversion farmers
- Examining the economic effects and competitiveness of knowledge exchange methods
- Pinpointing improvements for the exchange methodology to boost positive impacts
- Offering conclusions and recommendations to improve knowledge and innovation exchange during organic conversion
Tasks
- T.9.1. Assessment of social networks of participants farmers who are in the post-conversion to organics phase
- T.9.2. Implementation of the knowledge exchange methodology in terms of understanding its economic and competitiveness impacts (e.g. reduction of operating costs, increasing revenue) on the participating farms in the conversion and the post-conversion to organic farming phase
- T.9.3. Elaboration of a guide with the conclusions drawn from the implementation of the project and recommendations for applying this knowledge exchange methodology (e.g. training on specific topics such as plant protection,soil management, marketing, digitalization.)
- T.9.4. Elaboration of 3 Policy briefs with recommendations for policymakers to influence future policy and regulatory actions from the compilation of main conclusions of the project
